Bought toshiba tecra 8000-winxp works great (without single err msg). shd i still upgrade drivers fm site?why?
Recently bought sparingly used Toshiba tecra 8000 - Pentium-II MMX 400MHz Processor, 128MB SDRAM, 20GB HDD, CD-ROM Drive 1USB Port 1 Serial Port 1 Paralell Port VGA connector 2 PCMCIA slots Built-in Modem 14" TFT Screen Headphone Jack Microphone Jack AC Power Adapter Builtin speakers.. is the configurations. And mainly i just want to know, how to find the PCMCIA card slot is 16 bit or 32 bit. and there is connector holder just below the entrance of PCMCIA card slot. what is that for? what is the useof reset button infront?
Upgrading drivers, espically on old computers, is a good idea.
Just make sure you keep the old ones also, incase you have issues.
But most of the time newer drivers make things work better.
